Ron Weasley

Ron is the youngest son of Arthur and Molly Weasley. He is very tall with a long nose, blue eyes, fiery red hair and freckles. He grew up at The Burrow in Devon near a village called Ottery St. Catchpole. Ron is Harry Potter's best friend only don't call him that to his face. After having so many brothers do great things before him and coming from a very poor family his self-esteem is low and he often feels jealousy and hurt from such remarks. Ron is a very loyal friend despite these insecurities, often putting himself in dangers way to help friends and family. Ron is very protective of his younger sister Ginny and vehemently dislikes everyone she dates with the exception of Harry. Ron is a great strategist and enjoys playing wizards chess beating Harry several times throughout their school years. Ron also likes to play quidditch and became keeper for Gryffindor in his fifth year and returned again for his sixth. His middle name is Billius, named after his uncle who saw a grim and died the next day. Ron loves to argue and particularly loves to argue with Hermione Granger. When he first met her on the Hogwart's Express in his first year he disliked her later on calling her a nightmare. They bickered over several things throughout the years including Hermione's organization SPEW, her cat Crookshanks allegedly eating his rat Scabbers ( which later turned out to be Peter Pettigrew in animagus form), and most famously over Viktor Krum, a international quidditch player. Viktor had been Ron's favorite seeker until he came to Hogwarts for the Triwizard tournament and decided to ask Hermione to the Yule Ball. Harry found the severed arm of a Viktor Krum action figure under Ron's bed. At the Yule ball Ron accused Hermione of "fraternizing with the enemy to which she later argued that "Next time there's a ball, ask me before someone else does, and not as a last resort!" Although they are famous for their bickering Ron is fiercely protective of Hermione. He defends her honor numerous times from the likes of Draco Malfoy who calls her a mudblood and it is Hermione's voice that triggers the deluminator allowing Ron to return to Harry and Hermione's camp after abandoning them. Ron has a very superficial relationship with Lavender Brown in his sixth year which infuriated Hermione and they do not speak to each other for several weeks. It is not until he is poisoned that they reconcile. Ron and Hermione finally share their first kiss during the battle of Hogwarts after Ron mentions evacuating the house elves. He later marries Hermione and they have two children named Rose and Hugo.
